Timberscapes specializes in the design and construction of commercial and residential boulder retaining walls. We are known for our craftsmanship as well as our ability to tackle tough job sites that require placement of oversized boulders.
When we started our business 20 years ago, we were building retaining walls out of timbers - hence our name - but today we offer a wide variety of choices from boulders and natural stone to modular block and timbers.
Five of the nation's top builders, including D.R. Horton, Pulte Homes, U.S. Homes, K. Hovnanian and Centex, rely on us for retaining wall construction. They trust us because they know our natural looking walls add beauty and value to the homes around them. More than that, they know our walls are safe, durable and up to code because we have a civil engineer review construction plans for all walls over four-feet tall.

In addition to residential and commercial retaining walls, we also do shoreline and creek reconstruction. Because we have are able to bring our equipment in on barges, we handle waterfront projects that other companies just can't do. Over the years we've built attractive rip-rap, rock and boulder seawalls on shorelines along the Mississippi, the St. Croix River and Minnehaha Creek. Our seawalls are built to last, protecting your home from the water while keeping water and wildlife safe from runoff and erosion.
